This necklace by David Webb is magical. It is crafted with carved rock crystal: from the Greek krystallos or "ice" refers to colorless quartz and is an April birthstone. Rock crystal was used in rings, pins, pendants and bracelets during the Art Deco period in particular, and is a hallmark of houses such as David Webb to this day.
Suspending a detachable rock crystal pendant, with circular-cut diamond and sculpted 18k gold detail, to the neckchain designed as a series of faceted rock crystal hoops with circular-cut diamond and sculpted gold detail, joined by gold links, mounted in 18k gold and platinum.
